World Vegan Day Events in the US and Around the World

World Vegan Day takes place annually on November 1, marking the start of World Vegan Month. It’s a special day for vegans everywhere – a wonderful opportunity to celebrate veganism and raise awareness.

Miami, Florida: Seed Food & Wine Festival

Seed Food and Wine is the premiere plant-based food and wine festival in the US, with 200+ exhibitors, 10,000+ attendees, 40+ celebrity plant-based chefs and 30+ vegan experts, athletes, authors and celebrities. Special events include the Veggie Burger Battle and a cruelty-free high fashion show! So, if you’re looking for a week-long adventure where you can sip, savor and experience conscious, sustainable plant-based living, this is the place for you.

Boston, Massachusetts: Boston World Vegan Day March for Animal Rights

Boston World Vegan Day March is a peaceful way of spreading the word about veganism and raising awareness of the cruel practices of the animal agriculture industry and the effects it has on our planet. Anyone who supports animal rights is welcome to join the march.

When: October 29, 2017, 12pm-2pm

Manchester, UK: Manchester Vegan Fest

Hosted by the Vegan Organic Network, this festival is offering a wealth of stands displaying a variety of vegan products, alongside talks, workshops, cooking demos and live music. Whether you’re a long-time vegan or just interested in learning more about the vegan lifestyle, this is the place to be!

When: November 11-12, 2017, 10am-5pm

Southampton, UK: Southampton Vegan Festival

It’s Southampton’s first vegan festival, and everyone is invited! This fun-filled weekend features a wide variety of stands displaying vegan food, apparel, cosmetics and more. Also scheduled are talks and documentary screenings, cooking demos and other activities, and even a dedicated kids’ zone.

When: November 4-5, 2017, 10:30am-17:30pm

Florence, Italy: World Vegan Day Firenze 2017

Italy, vegan food, great wine, talks, art exhibitions, workshops and cooking demos, including one on how to make egg-free pasta… what’s not to like? If you happen to be in the area, don’t miss this 2-day event.

Istanbul, Turkey: World Vegan Day Conference

This year, the Vegan & Vegetarian Association of Turkey will be holding its second annual conference, featuring vegan food tastings, art exhibitions, stands, a panel session with special guests, and live music. The event is free, but you must register in advance through the website.

Melbourne, Australia: World Vegan Day Melbourne 2017

A free family event featuring food stands, live music, cooking demos, fashion, a kids’ area and even vegan speed dating! Everyone, vegan or not, is invited to celebrate World Vegan Day and learn more about every aspect of the vegan lifestyle. We don’t know about you, but we’re just about ready to jump on a plane!

When: November 12, 2017, 10am – 7pm
